 Season 1, Episode 4: We Interrupt This Program I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! This was by far my favorite episode yet. We are really diving deep into what's REALLY going on, and it's so cool!! We also get great cameos in my opinion from Randall Park as FBI Agent Jimmy Woo and Kat Dennings as Dr. Darcy Lewis. Both of them did terrific jobs in my opinion carrying on their character from their previous appearances. If you've been skeptical of the sitcom style up to this point, this episode is right up your alley. More analysis below with spoilers if you are looking to discuss, or just read someone else's opinion! WOW right from the cold open of this episode, I was fully invested. Is this a real trade???? From the perspective of a Red Sox fan, I'll take this any day of the week. Jared Carrabis from Barstool Sports has already written a great blog on this topic  and I agree with basically everything he says in that article.  This is the first trade between the two rivals in SEVEN years which honestly seems a little shorter than I would have imagined, but still is a pretty long time. You have to think the Sox won this round right?...RIGHT?? Red Sox 1, Yankees 0 already before the 2021 season even gets underway? Is there something I'm missing? 

  Love 'em.  I absolutely love the simplicity of this design. It screams old school, while also using a clean modern color palette. I hate that Big Z will be lumbering around the ice in these unis, but he'll look great doing it in my book. I believe I even said in a recent TikTok series I did that I would like to see the Caps introduce a navy blue jersey and here it is!  https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMJKEPs3R/  The concept is essentially a combination of two prior outdoor series uniforms for the Caps, as you can see below.       + While some might think this design is boring,  I think it's the perfect mix between a classic, old school sweater, and the Caps modern high flying look. 

 WOW! The ending of episode 3 was so intriguing. I honestly didn't really feel super locked in by the main plot of the episode, which was Wanda's pregnancy, but the ending was more than enough. We got to see the development of this world that we're observing, and to what extent people are aware of the truth. Vision now seems to be catching on to something. We're not sure what, but something. I can't wait to continue peeling back the layers of this mystery and find out what its impact on the overall MCU is!

Title: Wonder Woman 1984 Release Year: 2020 Rating: PG-13 Score: 6.9 Okay. Let me start this review by saying that this is a very FUN movie. At the end of the day, it is a movie about a really cool superhero who in my opinion is played very well by Gal Gadot. It is by no means a perfect movie, and I don't think it beats the first installment of the Wonder Woman series in my mind, but it is very fun to see a really powerful hero just do her thing. The movie starts with a really really long flashback intro scene. It does make sense later in the film, but this to me is the equivalent of a book that starts with chapters of exposition that easily could lose the interest of readers, or for this movie, viewers. We get some larger, more zoomed out shots of Themyscira during this flashback, and quite frankly it looks incredible.  Alright I've just finished the first 2 episodes of Marvel's new Disney+ series and I think the best word to describe my initial feelings is intrigued. It's very very interesting to see modern characters in a vintage setting, and not having grown up during that time, I have to say that from what I know, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany capture the tone very nicely. I would be curious to hear what someone who grew up with the older sitcoms would have to say though.  I had heard that there would be some sort of tie in with this show to the overall MCU and that it will have an effect on the upcoming multiverse plot, but I was skeptical that the show would start slow in that sense and save those plot lines for the end of the season. Already in the first two episodes though, there are rumblings of a larger plot beyond what we see on screen, and I am very excited to see how that plays out. Title: Soul Year Released: 2020 Rating: PG Score: 6.8 I had a strange experience watching this movie. I've be following Pixar heavily for a few years now, ever since I came across the Super Carlin Brothers YouTube channel where they dive into theories and Easter eggs. Since becoming more engaged in the watching and thinking about Pixar movies, I've thoroughly enjoyed each one that I've watched. I also enjoyed this movie, but at the end I just didn't really feel anything. I found that very odd for a movie that more than any other Pixar movie seems to lean into the message of the movie, rather than the story being the main feature.  This movie actually catalyzed my remodeling of my movie rankings. I originally had it ranked as an 8.3, but after thinking about it, it just isn't an 8+ movie for me. I'm someone who overthinks quite a lot.
