RANKING NBA EARNED EDITION JERSEYS

18. Clippers
This jersey is just so boring. I don’t like how the white font looks on the light gray in this case, and there’s just absolutely nothing to get excited about. I don’t hate the look, but it’s just a bit drab.
17. Blazers
I actually don’t mind these jerseys, but again, they just look a bit boring and uncreative. I think they could’ve done some fun things with this jersey, but removing all color was not the right choice.
16. Celtics
The lime green is an odd choice here. I would’ve really liked for them to have gone with a shimmery gold base here, instead of yet another green jersey. The Celtics will yet again have 2 white and 2 green jerseys in their set. That doesn’t offer a lot of diversity.
15. Jazz
I don’t love the green and yellow. I appreciate the throwback, but this one just doesn’t get me that excited. I truly don’t hate any of the jerseys on this list, but we’re still in the realm of jerseys that don’t really reach out to me, and I think we will be for a bit.
14. Pacers
I like that the Pacers city and earned jerseys complement each other, with the pinstripes and opposite color palettes. That’s kind of where the coolness stops for me though, as there’s really nothing else that’s exciting about this set.
13. Spurs
I don’t exactly remember, but I’m pretty sure the Spurs have worn these exact jerseys before, so seeing them as a special edition jersey is nothing to be excited about. They’re good, but nothing new.
12. Magic
Pretty much the same deal as the Spurs here, nice jerseys, but we’ve seen them before I believe.
11. Mavs
Can I just copy and paste? The Mavs have used these jerseys for YEARS, so using them as limited edition jerseys seems kind of cheap, but I do like the design, and I think I used them as my NBA 2k MyTeam jerseys a while back.
10. Thunder
I initially didn’t like these that much, but they’ve really grown on me. I actually like the simplicity, and the orange and blue look great together when the whole set is taken into account.
9. Rockets
I love the way the red striping and lettering pops on this jersey. It’s a simple one, but I think it fits nicely into their overall uniform catalog.
8. Raptors
I really like the design here, and I also like that they’re bringing back purple. I think if they really run with this, a base design of the chevron jerseys, coupled with a purple and red color palette could be really unique, and I like the look of it.
7. Heat
This is just a fun jersey that stands out from the rest of their set. The Heat may have the most diverse uniform catalog this year, and I’m here for it.
6. Nets
I really like the simple creativity in this jersey. They’ve found a way to be really creative with just white and black, and the subway stop number concept is incredible.
5. Nuggets
I like the logo on these jerseys, and it's really pulling them up. The colors are pretty nice as well, but the logo is what carries these uniforms to 5th place.
4. Sixers
Kind of the opposite with the Sixers here. I love the base design of the jersey, but the way the numbers are integrated with the bell logo (which is awesome) just doesn’t look right to me. Still one of my favorites in this release.
3. Suns
There’s really nothing wrong with these jerseys. The purple and orange look great together as always, and it has a retro vibe that mixes well with the modern elements of the jersey like the font. Really nice work from the Suns on this.
2. Bucks
I love the silhouette of the buck on the side of these jerseys. As sportslogos.net mentioned, it would be awesome to see these get turned into their primary design.
1. Lakers
Now this is where I get a little hypocritical. The Lakers have used these jerseys so many times, I’m surprised it’s not automatically part of their set. Ever since they came out with them as “Hollywood Nights” jerseys though, they might be my favorite design in the league of any kind of jersey. I love how the purple hides in the black base, but is highlighted by the gold. I think it’s awesome.
